The Art of Makeup

People nowadays think that makeup is modern days art. But if we look back to the history, we see that it is coming from thousands and thousands years. Like 70's and 90's makeup, how glamorous and classy makeup was that, until now people love the looks of 70's and 90's and recreate it. Makeup record have came from ancient Egypt, men and women used scented oils and ointments to clean and soften their skin. Egyptians used natural ingredients to paint their faces, and even had specialized tools to apply their makeup.

As you can see in this picture that in the ancient times the women wore bold eye liner, which looks very classy. Like every other girl I also love makeup. I always used my mother's makeup when I was small, as I was so much interested in doing makeup and creating different looks. I never took any makeup class, whatever I have learned about makeup I have learned myself a bit and a lot from YouTube videos. I never bought any product myself, I always used my mother's makeup. She always bought makeup for me, before I went to Dubai. In 2012 I went to Dubai in "The Dubai Mall" and something really attracted me what was that? Let me tell you, "Sephora" I don't think I have to explain what is that I am pretty much sure you all know about this. I went Sephora there and saw "Benefit cosmetics", I tried "Benetint" lip and cheek tint. I never saw anything before like that product which really impressed me, the formula, the texture it was so amazing, and long lasting and I bought that and fall in love with the product. I thought of making my collection of different products and started buying. 

This is the product which I bought first time in Dubai before that I never bought any makeup myself. This was my go to product, I recommend this product to everyone. After that I bought many cosmetics from Sephora and made a collection of different products, and learned many new techniques of applying makeup. I really can't live without makeup now, wherever I see a cosmetic shop I can't control myself from buying or even looking at it. So, now makeup is like an art to me.
